## Getting started

<AccordionGroup>
  <Accordion title="What is Exit Labs?">
    A founder game on Robinhood Chain. You hold a Founder NFT and activate it, and it starts working as an Office that earns `$EXIT` every second. When you cash out you pay a tax that falls the longer you wait since your last cash-out.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="What is the difference between a Founder and an Office?">
    The Founder is the NFT. The Office is what your Founder becomes when you activate it: it has a tier, earns XP and revenue, and is what you cash out from. A Founder that isn't activated has no Office and earns nothing.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Which chain is it on?">
    Robinhood Chain. The app offers to add the network to your wallet when you connect.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Can I mint a Founder?">
    No. The collection is sold out and no new Founders can be minted. There are 3,697 Founders, and you buy one from another holder on the collection's Anvil market or on OpenSea.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="What do I need to start?">
    A Founder, some `$EXIT` to activate it on Anvil, and a little ETH for gas and Anvil's small ETH fee.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="How do I get $EXIT?">
    On the collection's Anvil market, or by swapping NVDA for `$EXIT` in the game's pool. Check the token address in the app before you buy.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Does activating move my Founder out of my wallet?">
    No. Your Founder stays in your wallet. If it leaves your wallet, its Office is closed.
  </Accordion>
</AccordionGroup>

## Earning

<AccordionGroup>
  <Accordion title="I bought a Founder. Why isn't it earning?">
    A bought Founder is not activated, even if the seller's was. Activate it on Anvil, then press **Sync** in Exit Labs. It earns from the moment you sync. See [Activation](/mechanics/activation).
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="How much can an Office earn?">
    From 5 `$EXIT` a day for a Tier 1 Office at level 1, up to 333 a day for a Tier 5 Office at level 5 with full boost, before Growth Hacks and tax. See the table in [Revenue](/mechanics/revenue).
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="How long does it take to reach the top tier?">
    About 174 days of XP, counted after the 14-day cliff. Each full cash-out starts a new 14-day cliff with no XP, so frequent cash-outs push the top tier back. See [Tiers & XP](/mechanics/tiers-and-xp).
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Do I need to do anything to get promoted?">
    Yes, bank it. Your Office is promoted the next time it is banked: a cash-out, the **Bank XP + revenue** button, or a lock. Until then it earns at its old tier, so bank it once it has enough XP. Anyone can bank any Office.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="What happens to revenue I don't cash out?">
    It keeps building up and waits for you. It is only lost if the Founder changes hands before you cash out.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="What if the IPO Pool runs out?">
    You are paid what it holds and the rest stays pending. If it is empty, the cash-out is refused and your revenue waits. See [Cash out](/mechanics/cash-out).

    At launch the IPO Pool starts empty. It fills from the swap fee on the game's pool and from Growth Hack sales, so the first cash-outs wait for trading volume. Trades on the Anvil market don't fill it.
  </Accordion>
</AccordionGroup>

## Cashing out

<AccordionGroup>
  <Accordion title="Why was my cash-out taxed so much?">
    The tax is highest right after your last full cash-out, or right after you activated the Founder, and falls over 21 days to your rank's floor. The higher of your Office's and your wallet's tax applies. See [Cash out](/mechanics/cash-out).
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="I cashed out one Office and the next one was taxed at 90%. Why?">
    A cash-out that pays in full restarts your wallet's clock, and every Office pays the higher of its own tax and the wallet's. Use **Cash out all** to cash out every Office at today's rates in one go.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="What is the lowest tax I can pay?">
    It depends on your rank: 30% at the start, down to 10% at the top rank, once 21 days have passed. See [Reputation & rank](/mechanics/founder-reputation).
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Where does the cash-out tax go?">
    To the Keep. See [The Keep](/tokenomics/the-keep).
  </Accordion>
</AccordionGroup>

## Selling and moving Founders

<AccordionGroup>
  <Accordion title="What happens if I sell my Founder?">
    Its Office is closed and reset. Level, tier and XP go back to zero, and any revenue you haven't cashed out is lost. Cash out before you sell. xEXIT locked against the Office stays locked until its term ends and its owner unlocks it. Until then its boost works for the buyer.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Can I move a Founder to my other wallet?">
    Yes, but it counts as a change of hands. The Office is closed, revenue you haven't cashed out is lost, and you activate it again on Anvil from the new wallet.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Do my rank and tax move with me to another wallet?">
    No. Reputation, rank, your tax floor and your wallet's tax clock belong to each wallet. An Office is cashed out by the wallet that holds it.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Do Growth Hacks go with the Founder?">
    Yes. A Growth Hack stays with the Founder it was applied to, so the buyer gets its effect.
  </Accordion>
</AccordionGroup>

## Items, xEXIT and fees

<AccordionGroup>
  <Accordion title="What are Growth Hacks?">
    One-use items you buy in the shop with `$EXIT` and apply to an Office to raise its revenue or shorten its cliff. Half of every purchase is burned. See [Growth Hacks](/mechanics/growth-hacks).
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="What is xEXIT?">
    Your share of the game's liquidity. Lock it against an Office to boost its revenue up to 2.5× and to earn a share of the swap fee. The amount you lock sets the boost, and higher-level Offices need more for the same boost. The term only sets your share of the fee. See [xEXIT](/tokenomics/xexit).
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Can I lock xEXIT on someone else's Office?">
    Yes. You can lock against any Office. The boost goes to that Office, and the fee share goes to you.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Someone locked xEXIT on my Office. What does that mean?">
    Their lock adds to your Office's boost, up to 2.5×. The fee share is theirs, you can't remove their lock, and it stays with the Founder if you sell.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="What are the fees?">
    Founder sales on OpenSea carry a 10% creator fee, set on OpenSea, and the Anvil market charges its own 8% trading fee. Swaps in the game's pool pay a 10% game fee on top of the pool's 1% LP fee. Sending `$EXIT` to another wallet costs nothing but gas. Moving a Founder to another wallet also costs only gas, but it closes its Office exactly like a sale.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="I upgraded my level on Anvil and nothing changed.">
    Press **Sync** again. An upgrade keeps your XP, tier and clocks and adds reputation for each new level.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Do Growth Hacks stack?">
    No. A Growth Hack replaces a weaker one of the same kind, and one that is not better is refused.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Where does the swap fee go?">
    50% to the treasury, 35% to the IPO Pool that pays Office revenue, and 15% to xEXIT stakers. The fee and the split are fixed and can't be changed.
  </Accordion>
</AccordionGroup>

## Launch

<AccordionGroup>
  <Accordion title="What should I expect on launch day?">
    The IPO Pool starts empty, a fresh activation is taxed at the peak, and XP starts after the 14-day cliff, so there is no rush to cash out. Revenue builds from the moment you sync and waits for you.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="What is the $EXIT supply, and where are the contracts?">
    Both are TBA. They will be announced at launch, and the token address will be shown in the app.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="What are the level prices on Anvil and the opening price of $EXIT?">
    They are set at launch and shown in the app and on the Anvil market.
  </Accordion>
